Until Monday.
With poor weather before and after (there had even been snowflakes the day before!), Monday dawned bright and clear and we could not have asked for more beautiful sunlight or a more clear day, although we all would have liked for it to be a tad bit warmer!
Having married in different cultures (Micah is an Alaskan Yupik), we both were really touched by how proudly Mike worn the traditional pink silk, and as always, how much Hyun's love for him just shown through.
See the little pink purse off to the side? It's one of my favorite details of the image and was totally Hyun's idea!
I do believe that Hyun has one of the sweet expressions, you just want to give her a big hug!
Meanwhile, Mike is just one of the guys with an infectious laugh!
The location, the Anchorage Museum, had an amazing wall of mirrored glass. It made for some beautiful reflections in the evening sun.
I love to watch the way couples just curl their fingers together. So romantic.
A brick wall and a bright pink purse? Oh yes, please!
Hyun is such a natural in front of the camera!
It's so wonderful to see couples that laugh together.
Ring pictures have always been some of my favorites and this is a shot that has been in mind for some time!
The sun began setting behind us, so instead of hurrying into the shadows, we decided to take advantage of the evening sunlight in all its glory!
Mike, Hyun, you guys are wonderful and we are so glad to have met you and can't wait to watch your love grow through the years. Once again, congratulations!
Thank you so much guys! We love the pictures so much - I especially think that ring picture was a fantastic idea! Like the wedding photos, there were some great shots in the preview, but a whole bunch more when we finally got the CDs. We can't wait to see them all! You guys are great! Thanks again!
